I was scanning some family photos when I came across what I thought was a part of the Cumnock Chronicle from November 21st 1947.  The paper had narrow columns with small print and was not easy to read.  It was even less easy to scan. However, there is interesting information contained in the columns if you read it carefully, including the reason why it is printed this way.  I may have to re-scan some of the columns and/or add bits I have missed.  I was also surprised at the amount of information concerning New Cumnock.
