Dam Divers at Glenafton Reservoir – Tuesday 19th March 2013
I would like to thank George Leslie Ltd and Clyde Commercial Diving for allowing me onsite to take the following photographs. Their staff put up with me, were good humoured and answered all my questions.
The diver in the photos is taking a video survey of the sloping dam wall so that loose or damaged masonry underwater can be repaired.

I have been reliably told that there are divers at the dam this morning
I am on time. The diver is consulting with other divers in the control van.
Work is also continuing on the new bridge and tower.
The multicoloured group of cables on the ground is the umbilical cord

The valve in the tower that controls the water outlet from the dam had to be closed to prevent the diver being sucked in.
