I would like to thank John Walker for donating an interesting group of family photos dating back to the 1920s. Also, for his contribution over the years to the website and help in identifying many unknown individuals in photographs.
Catherine(Kate) Seaton nee Walker outside the gatehouse at Connelpark where she was the level-crossing keeper in the 1920s. In the background is Connel Bridge Stores(Murray's grocery)

Dalgig Farm about 1946. It was bought and refurbished by a 'shipping magnate' after the war. From the left, John Walker, Wull McDonald(Wee Feegie), Wull Mills(our employer) & the owner's chauffeur. The other two are part of the managers family
