Danny McCulloch’s Medals

Danny McCulloch is a well known junior football player who had a distinguished football career.
Danny’s football career started at the Bank School when he was selected to represent the Bank School in the No.5 Area Championships, which they won in 1948, when Danny was 13 years old. After leaving school he signed for Glenpark Youths before signing for Glenafton Athletic in 1953-54 season, when he was 18 years old.  During his time with the Glens he won two International Caps for Scotland against Southern Ireland and Wales during season 1956-57.  He then signed for Falkirk and played there for a season but he wasn’t happy there and came back to have a months trial with Stranraer, they wanted him to sign but he decided to come back to the Glens and signed for them in 1958 and stayed there until 1965 when he and his family moved to Dreghorn, where he signed for Kilwinning Rangers for a season.  He then returned to the Glens and played for another season before retiring from playing during season 1967-68.
