When New Cumnock swimming pool was threatened with closure in 2012, New Cumnock Community Open-Air Swimming Pool Group was formed to save the pool for the community and keep it open.  The group have been very successful and their efforts and information on the pool can be seen at:   http://www.newcumnockpool.co.uk/

The swimming pool now forms part of the Regeneration proposals by the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust.
